I blend the traditional with the modern, emphasising the embrace and the walk. Informed by the structural analysis of recent years, I strive for a dance that is playful, elegant and expressive.  Before tango, I taught martial arts, an obsession I´ve been pursuing for more than half my life and a discipline which gives me a thorough understanding of body mechanics.  I try to teach with humour and clarity, offering students an immediately usable toolkit to develop and improve their dance.
