U2Raum
A wonderful space with a relaxed and warm ambiance. The ideal venue for our Festivalito con Amigos. We've initiated the U2Raum in 2011 and will use it for all Milongas of the FCA 2012. It's in 10 Minutes walking distance from our headquarters. See photos on their website.

Johanneskirche - St. John's Church
The greatest location for Tango ever! St. John's church is known for it's cultural activities that attract people from all over the region and from all denominations. And of course, this protestant church is still used for service, prayer and contemplation.
We've been using this great venue until 2011 for the "Gran Baile" of our Festivalito con Amigos. It's situated in 5 minutes walking distance from our studio:

Theater Blauer Hirsch
Pub and theatre - all in one. A nice ambiance with a good wooden floor. That's were we organise our christmas Milonga:

Hotels
We recommend the following hotels:

• Continental-Hotel: Basic hotel with special prices and convenient breakfast hours for Festival participants. A couple of minutes by foot to all venues.
• Motel-One: Budget hotel in the heart of the city. A couple of minutes by foot to all venues.
• Etap-Hotel: Very basic hotel. Can be reached by tram or car in 10 minutes.
• City-Hotel: Middle class hotel, 5 minutes walk from our studio.
• Domicil-Leidinger: Very nice hotel with special ambiance for a fair price. In 15 minutes walking distance from our studio.
• Appartments to rent in walking distance to all locations

How to get to Saarbrücken by train/plane

Regular flight: Fly to Frankfurt/Main (FRA) and take the train to Saarbrücken. There is a "Regionalexpress"(RE) that goes every two hours directly from the trainstation at Terminal 1 to our town.

Ryanair: Fly to Frankfurt/Hahn with Ryanair. Then have take a train/shuttle via Trier to Saarbrücken. That's a little bit more complicated.

Flight via Paris: Fly to Paris and take the TGV/ICE to Saarbrücken. It takes only two hours and if you book early, you can get a ticket for 29€.

By train: Saarbrücken is connected via fast trains to all major cities in Europe. There are e.g. direct connections to Paris & Frankfurt, that take less than 2 hours.
