A modern approach to traditional Tango
The Tangokombinat comprehends Tango as a languag with words and a grammar. We thus concentrate on teaching a general understanding for techniques, communication, body mechanics and improvisation. Memorizing steps is not our cup of tea.
Our approach is nevertheless routed in the social dance, the Tango de Salón as it is danced by the Milongueros in Buenos Aires. The (close) embrace, the walk, the music and the social behaviour on the dance floor are in our constant focus!


The teachers
We - Detlef, Melina, Andreas and Anne-Cecile - started out as local teachers in our homeregion SaarLorLux, where we worked since 2001 and developped a unique concept. Nowadays, we teach internationally, but are still available for privates or an occasional workshop inbetween our travels.
